3D MTO Organs – In real life

When Patsy and I came up with the idea to 3D print organs, we thought it was ridiculously outlandish. And then we realized that kidney printing was already in prototype stages. OK. Fine. We’ll be more outlandish for the sake of future. We’ll customize the organs for each person based on their disease so that researchers can study them. Oh wait. That’s already being done too. Granted, none of these are up to production level yet, but the fact that the prototypes are here already mean that that ideas were started several years ago before I even knew that 3D printing was happening with plain old boring plastics. Seeing the progression of this makes even the craziest ideas seem vaguely plausible in a not so distant future.
